In the heart of Antwerp's Jewish quarter, close to the Central Station and the diamond district, this beautiful house with a bow window overlooking the boulevard and a majestic marble hall is somewhat reminiscent of a cabinet of curiosities. Lion's foot bathtubs and antique woodwork, Chesterfield sofas and club chairs, thick curtains and ornithological references, religious trinkets under glass domes and old photos, an orangery (where breakfast is served) and colorful drapes... Yet everything is perfectly contemporary, in tune with the times, and not at all old-fashioned. Here, you feel like you're in the home of an aesthetically-minded friend who is a little mischievous, sometimes even rebellious, and above all free-spirited.
