Sometimes it takes very little to turn your passions into reality. Here, between Landes, Béarn, and the Basque Country, all it took for Agathe and François was an encounter at the end of a country road with this place, a barn, and some stables.

This place is where all their dreams can come true. A place that they have revamped and reinvented as a family. The 7-hectare estate, bordered by the Bidouze River, now houses a guest house, a mainly organic vegetable garden, a playground set up in the former horse paddock, an XXL room for yoga and other activities, a swimming pool with a view, a shop, and more. Here, there is a lot of antique hunting and recycling, such as the headboards made from old stable doors, and nods to Agathe's father's adventures in Senegal (he created a lodge on the beach near M'bour) and François' equestrian adventures (he was a racehorse trainer and they lived in Chantilly), combining refinement and sincerity, attention to detail and generosity.
