Domaine de la Partoucie
Chez
Fabienne Veillon
The Domaine de la Partoucie blends into a setting where history dialogues with nature. Fifteenth-century stones, a pond, moats, and a rolling park that changes with the seasons. Here, you can fish, read, and stroll. A house where you can take your time, without pretense, just as it comes.
The Domaine de la Partoucie has the serenity of a place steeped in history, where solid ancestral stones—the oldest dating back to the 15th century—stand alongside the tranquil waters of the pond and moat. Here, the rolling landscape unfolds gently, with as much—if not more—charm in winter as in summer. Sheep graze in the morning mist, the English garden is covered with frost... So ? How about fishing in the pond or playing tennis ? Farniente by the pool or at the far end of the park with a view of the surrounding fields ? Or a moment of reading, tucked away in the large living room, picking up a book at random... La Partoucie is a family home, and time undoubtedly passes more slowly here than elsewhere, probably because things are simply the way they should be.

- because it's a real family home
- because it's in a corner of the Charentes region that may be a little isolated, but is well worth discovering as it's still off the beaten track
- because it's a bit like living in a castle, but without any pretensions
