In the heart of the Monts d'Arrée, between moors and forests, lakes and rivers, rocc'h and calvaries, a hidden cabin offers refuge from the elements.

Imagine a burrow (Douarenn in Breton) where you can hide away, take refuge, and protect yourself from all the hustle and bustle, but with a view and right in the middle of a nature park. That's what this wooden cabin is all about, with its simple, resolutely contemporary lines, set in the heart of nature. At the center of the Monts d'Arrée mountains is a vegetable garden and a few flowers (Cloé is a florist). So you can hide away there, alone to write or just think, as a couple, because sometimes it's nice to just be together, or with your family and kids, to reconnect and bond. Douarenn skillfully plays the simplicity card, without any desire for minimalism, just to let light flood into the house and allow the essentials to flourish.

3 good reasons to go

  1. because these mountains are the heart of Brittany: rocky outcrops, forests, moors, lakes, rivers, historic and contemporary monuments...
  2. because there are no unnecessary decorations or frills here
  3. because, if you come with your children, everything has been designed with them in mind too
