La Papote

Here, on the edge of the Fontainebleau forest, we drink mainly natural and organic beverages, eat local and healthy food, and sleep if we feel like it. At La Papote, the walls still echo with the conversations of the Impressionists who stopped here on their way to Barbizon at what was already an inn, and with the heated exchanges of Zola, who is said to have written L'Assommoir here. Above all, the walls echo with the enthusiasm now instilled by Émilie, Lou, and their gang: Margaux Slowey, the interior designer who imagined the space; Sarah and Clément, the couple at the piano who entertain after having traveled almost around the world; and Julie Slowey, who designed the graphic identity. The walls resonate with a beautiful newfound modernity.
