Le Détour, an eight-hectare haven of nature nestled between meadows and forests in the making. At the heart of the estate lies a farmhouse and barn, reinvented by architect Samuel Crosnier using local materials. Here, everything is designed with short supply chains in mind, right down to breakfast.
Eight hectares of meadows, pastures, and forests in the making, undergoing reforestation, a pleasure garden, and a permaculture vegetable garden: those who are missing nature will find their Eden here at Le Détour. In the middle stands a farm, several buildings and a barn that was once used to house goats and horses, now completely redesigned, revamped and refurbished without losing any of its charm. The volumes have been preserved, the doors transformed into bay windows, and the old elements converted. Two years of work was carried out under the leadership of architect Samuel Crosnier by local craftsmen. Because everything here is local, right down to breakfast: Le Détour is as short-circuited as possible.
