In the heart of the Cotentin region, Les Rochers has been given a new lease of life after six years of passionate restoration. Susanna and Konstantin have combined old stonework with 20th- and 21st-century design, creating a space that embodies freedom and nonconformity. In this fortified farmhouse with the appearance of a manor, art dialogues with the vibrant Normandy countryside.
This ancient fortified farmhouse in the heart of the Cotentin region, reminiscent of a manor house, required just over six years of hard work to restore it to its former glory. Susanna and Konstantin, originally from Switzerland and having lived in Italy for many years, brought their taste for freedom and nonconformity to Les Rochers. Surrounding a large courtyard are several buildings: the main house, an old chapel, an old barn, and another building that was probably used as a stable. Here, extra-large spaces and old stones serve as a backdrop for 20th- and 21st-century furniture and works of art, from Art Deco to Italian design, with a few Scandinavian pieces thrown in. The vision is resolutely contemporary and personal. And all around, the green of Normandy, almost fluorescent at times, and fruit trees...
