Maison Mastrorelli
Chez
Céline Mastrorelli
At Maison Mastrorelli, a former stone inn turned epicurean retreat, the light reveals terracotta tiles and raw wood, whites and olive greens. Swimming pool, outdoor kitchen, piano, and amplifiers : a free, joyful, and creative Provence, unbridled and liberated.
Lots of white, a little green, mostly olive, but quite intense, some sienna too ; that's it for the colors. Above all, lots of light to highlight the effects of the materials, the sometimes unusual combinations of old terracotta tiles and raw wood. Céline Mastrorelli designed this stone house, a former inn, which she simply named Maison Mastrorelli, like that of a tribe, epicurean, sharing, and rather musical (she even thought of the guitar amplifier and the hybrid piano). And if we add the swimming pool, built in a former drinking trough, and the outdoor kitchen, there's no doubt about it : we are definitely in Provence!
