Maison Plume

Chez
Simon

@nolwennpernin & @mamieboude

A house by the water, between the Seine and the sea, where everything seems to have fallen into place naturally. La Maison Plume is the rebirth of an old hotel and a declaration of love for Normandy, the home of Joan of Arc. Here, there is no television or notifications: we talk, read, play, walk... and breathe.

A house on the water's edge, between the Seine and the sea, between the Brotonne and Tancarville bridges... There is nothing excessive here, in this Maison Plume, as everything seems to have been so naturally put together and done with love. It is the story of a rebirth, that of a former hotel, and above all a declaration of love for a region (that of Jeanne's childhood) so conducive to romantic impulses. Jeanne and Simon invite you to embark on a digital detox: your phone in exchange for your room key. In any case, the network is very unreliable, so you might as well save yourself the hassle and go with the flow. There's no TV: you'll relearn how to talk, read, play, walk (the surrounding forest is very beautiful)...

3 good reasons to go

  1. because of Simon's breakfasts
  2. because Apollinaire, Marie Laurencin, Victor Hugo... used to come to these banks of the Seine
  3. because houses this sincere are rare
