Just an hour's drive from Lille, enjoy a complete change of scenery on this long stretch of sand and in this apartment with a view, designed as a veritable gallery dedicated to Belgian design and contemporary creation.
Ostend used to be called the Queen of Beaches, and some people still refer to it that way today. Just a stone's throw from Arne Quinze's astonishing “Rock Strangers,” a couple designed their apartment overlooking the North Sea as a manifesto. As founders of Club Paradis, a Ghent-based communications agency specializing in design and architecture, Albane and Micha conceived Paradis Apartment as an extension of their work, incorporating the best of contemporary Belgian design. Some of the pieces are by internationally renowned designers, others by up-and-coming talents. Everything, except for the built-in furniture and family heirlooms, is for sale. This paradise is all about movement. All you have to do is let yourself be carried away by the combined talents and the lights dancing on the long ribbon of sand.
