Sometimes a story begins with love at first sight. For Marie, it was this majestic, four-hundred-year-old oak tree standing on the banks of the Anglin River. Then she fell in love with the manor house, the outbuildings and dependencies—almost a village in itself. At the time, it was in ruins. In 1981, she was just 30 years old and wanted to imagine a family home. It took years and a lot of energy, but today it is a house in several perfectly independent parts, ideal for families or groups looking for peace and quiet and a place to get together. The orangery, stables, honey house, and farmhouse have been converted into houses and studios, and the manor house, where she lives with her family, has three guest rooms. Add two XXL reception rooms, two swimming pools, a 14-hectare park, forests, a river... Add a Gaulish table, a regional nature park (Brenne) and migratory bird sanctuaries...
