Yok Casa + Cultura

Chez
chez Mari Marañís & Petz Scholtus

Yok Casa + Cultura, in the heart of Barcelona, combines eco-friendly apartments, local design, and cultural encounters. Three spaces in a modernist building, cement tile floors, wooden kitchens, and a rooftop terrace where artists and guest chefs meet, with views of the city.

This is truly a place that embraces hybridity! Yok Casa + Cultura is part hotel, part Airbnb-style apartment, part guesthouse, and part exhibition space... And it's also a bit like a Russian doll: inside a devilishly modernist building (on the edge of the Carré d'Or district), in a gigantic apartment, Mari and Petz have created three apartments. Totally eco-friendly, they are furnished with cool vintage finds and pieces by young local designers (some of which are for sale), have retained their cement tile floors and early 20th-century stucco, and are now equipped with beautiful wooden kitchens. There is also a rooftop terrace where you can have breakfast, enjoy a drink, meet artists or guest chefs during events, all with a view of Barcelona!

3 good reasons to go

  1. For the incredible view from the terrace, where you can request breakfast
  2. For the sincere and thorough commitment to the environment
  3. For the ideal location, whether you want to go to Barceloneta, El Born, or Diagonal
Price
