In the 1950s, great-grandfather Franz Wentner, who had a keen nose and plenty of guts, took a chance on this corner of South Tyrol and opened a hotel there. The Sonnenparadies is now gone, but his descendants have continued the saga. The third generation played its part with two traditional hotels, and the fourth generation has done the same with this opus, the Saltus. An eco-friendly hotel that prioritizes the shortest possible supply chains; a wood and glass building where the decor takes a back seat to the view of the Dolomite peaks; a place where you can unwind with yoga, meditation sessions, forest bathing, and more.
