Le Clos des Ursulines
Chez
Caroline Pusset
In the heart of Burgundy's grand cru vineyards, Clos des Ursulines bridges history and modernity, blending old-world charm with subtle design. Nestled between vineyards and exceptional restaurants, Clos des Ursulines is the ideal base for exploring Burgundy's wine country.
It would be difficult to find a more central location. Between Beaune, Puligny-Montrachet and Meursault, just a short drive from Saint-Romain or Pommard, you are right here at Clos des Ursulines, in the heart of a golden triangle. In this very old village house, long abandoned, everything has been stripped back and emptied without detracting from its charm. The fireplace is monumental, the ceilings are French-style, and the rooms are as large as they are perfectly aligned. The choice of a beige color scheme, from putty to matte white, a few beautiful designer pieces, and an ultra-graphic kitchen bring light and modernity, making this residence with its interior courtyard the perfect base from which to explore vineyards, fine restaurants, châteaux, and estates.
3 good reasons to go
- because it was once the retirement home of the Ursuline sisters of Beaune...
- because despite its minimalist design, the atmosphere here is natural and relaxed
- because it is the ideal starting point for exploring the most beautiful roads in Burgundy
