Bateau Libre
Chez
Jean-Étienne Gourvès
The former Hôtel de la Poste has been replaced by Bateau Libre: a hotel reinvented for lovers of the sea. Comfortable “cabin” rooms with Cocomat bedding, a seaside bistro, and a large table to share... All that's left to do is cast off.
Look no further for the former Hôtel de la Poste. A young guy who's a little crazy but perfectly equipped for the job (he trained in Lausanne, at the EHL, the best) has completely redesigned, revamped, and even renamed it! Bateau Libre is now a hotel for lovers of the sea, sea spray, and thrills, but that's not all. It's also a bistro for lovers of the sea, as always, and very generous. Six types of “cabins” with bedding by Cocomat World (the best, once again) and tables where you can enjoy platters, oysters, shellfish, crustaceans, or fishes. Add to that the “captain's table,” which can be reserved for private parties (from 16 to 24 people, count carefully!). All that's left to do is set sail!
3 good reasons to go
- for the carefully selected wines which are open when it's time for an aperitif
- for the unique lifestyle in Bénodet, in the heart of Brittany's sailing hotspot
- for bike rides if you're not too keen on the sea
Starting at €69
