After seven years of entrepreneurship in the ready-to-wear fashion industry, Mylène Kiener, 38, head of a tribe of four children and a dog, was ready to take on a challenge that matched her energy, her desires, and her multifaceted life. She embarked on the Maison Ajae project, convinced that “beyond material needs, people are above all looking for experiences.” Launched a year ago, the beginnings are promising. Maison Ajae has no shortage of arguments to convince. A beautiful, fully renovated 2,150-square-foot residence, modular spaces organized around six bedrooms, a huge 8,600-square-foot garden with a swimming pool, and even a sauna area to relax in on winter evenings. Families gather, children play, couples disconnect, groups of friends have a good time, and even companies take advantage of the proximity to the capital for team building in the countryside. Clearly, what excites Mylène is seeing her house come alive with its occupants and their activities, which she does not hesitate to organize. Cooking workshops, herbalism workshops, and yoga classes are among the services available on request. The “signature” service? The seafood platter and bottle of white wine that can be reserved for those arriving on Friday evening and wanting to ensure a good start to the weekend.
