Blue-green or green-blue? Celadon is that uncertain color, which is also the color of a famous type of Asian ceramic. The celadon of this estate is, by extension, all the shades of the sky reflected in the water. That of a spring-fed pond, that of the swimming pool. It is also the color of olive leaves and aromatic herbs such as rosemary, fennel, and sage, which grow in the vegetable garden. And why not the changing hues of the surrounding vineyards or the light that dances on the walls of this 19th-century mansion that once belonged to a family of glassmakers?
