Maison de Sens
Chez
Emilie Briand & Guillaume Multrier
On the outskirts of Tarascon, between Arles, Avignon, and the Alpilles, Mas des Prêcheurs combines nature, architecture, and well-being. On this 18-hectare estate, Émilie and Guillaume have created a contemporary home within an authentic old house, dedicated to the art of slow living.
After living in Paris, Emilie and Guillaume headed south to the great outdoors to breathe new life into a characterful building and its surrounding natural environment. On the outskirts of Tarascon, between Arles, the Alpilles, and Avignon, Mas des Prêcheurs is nestled in an 18-hectare estate surrounded by orchards and cypress trees. An 800 m² farmhouse sits like an island in the heart of nature. A private estate offering a timeless retreat; a large olive grove, a Provençal garden, a pine forest, a swimming pool at the end of a cypress-lined driveway, and a permaculture farm in the making. A contemporary house designed within a 17th-century building, with five bedrooms and suites, each one different, and an eco-friendly restaurant. To these have been added two totally immersive suites in two sublime Lumipod cabins... Stay here for cultural getaways between Avignon and Arles, nature trips to discover the Alpilles or the Camargue just a little further away. Or for a stay called Maison de Sens, designed by Emilie, a coach and logotherapist. Or simply to take the time to focus on the sound of cicadas and birdsong.
