At the foot of the ramparts of Montreuil-sur-Mer, Alexandre Gauthier enriches his world with an intimate and refined guest house. With its winter garden, fireplace, and muted-colored rooms, it is the perfect stopover on a gourmet tour of his iconic restaurants on the Opal Coast.
To complement his restaurants, La Grenouillère, Anecdote, Froggy' Tavern, Grand'Place Café, and the latest addition, simply named Sur-Mer (in Merlimont), chef Alexandre Gauthier, who seems determined to continue bringing a truly creative and gourmet touch to this inland area of the Opal Coast, has also opened a small guest house at the foot of the ramparts of this small town which, contrary to what its name suggests, is not at all by the sea, with a winter garden, fireplace, and cozy lounge. In the rooms, described by the chef as “circumstantial,” the furniture is very well chosen and the colors perfectly muted. It's the perfect place to recover from all those feasts if you feel like trying out all of Alexandre Gauthier's restaurants.
