The warmth and flavor of Spain, or more specifically the Balearic Islands, right in the heart of Paris... That's the challenge taken up by a group of six enthusiasts who came up with this cool casa where, just like back home, you'll see the sound rise and heat up very quickly.
From Cala to Casa, it was undoubtedly just a small step. Enamored with Menorca, with Cala Pregonda, a tiny cove tucked away in the north of the island, this cheerful group (six of them, including Alexandre Giesbert, co-founder of Daroco in Paris) wanted to bring a little piece of their lifestyle to the heart of Paris. We're almost there in this Casa. All the markers are there: white and bottle green for the decor, pan con tomate to start, rice with squid ink, tortillas, croquetas, and anchovies that go down a treat with Pomada, made with gin from Mahón. Everything is there: laughter, candles, white curtains dancing in the wind. Everything is there, even the hubbub and warmth of conversations that fly away and carry you off, even the slight blush on your cheeks. All that's missing is the wind, the sun, the sound of water, and the mingled scents of wild rosemary and chamomile. Have another bite of that lomo...
