Jogging Samena
Chez
Olivier Amsellem
In Marseille, close to a cove, the Jogging Samena cabin reinvents the southern lifestyle: raw, simple, and perfectly authentic. Designed by Olivier Amsellem, the space extends the spirit of the Jogging concept store and welcomes visiting artists and friends.
Far from being just a creek where you can take a dip as you pass by, this long-abandoned cabin has been given a new lease on life. Almost nothing has been changed, and none of its faded charm has been lost. The walls are crumbling and the floors are worn, just as they should be. The vintage furniture and eclectic choices are just what we like, with careful attention to detail, but invisible, just as it should be. Look no further: there are no flaws in taste or judgment here, this place has it all. Jogging Samena is the lifestyle counterpart to Marseille's most desirable concept store, Jogging. A cabin that exudes the South. Another opus that also exudes the South: the Corbusier room, in the Cité Radieuse, naturally... Both regularly welcome artists in residence to establish a creative dialogue with Olivier, who is also (and above all?) a photographer.

- - because it's a Marseille that has managed to stay true to itself, ma non troppo

- - because you're going to love hiding away there...
