Le Cabanon de Malmousque

There’s the Corniche—Corniche Kennedy, of course—and at the far end, the charming Port de Malmousque, with its little fishermen’s huts. Among them, this one, slightly set back, just a stone’s throw from the port, has been completely revamped—without losing its soul—by a local talent who clearly has plenty to spare. It’s all the expertise of curator and art buyer Marie Veidig—usually deployed in beautifully appointed hotels—that she has brought to this cabanon. Sourced furniture and objects, reclaimed flooring, designer lamps, pendants, and mirrors by André Cazenave and Audoux-Minet, alongside pieces from emerging creators like Ateliers Laissez Passer. No superfluous decorative flourishes—everything is here because it belongs. Just a few steps away: the beaches of Pointe d’Endoume and Plage de Maldormé, the picturesque Vallon des Auffes, a handful of excellent restaurants, and even one or two galleries, including Galerie Alexis Pentcheff and La Traverse…
