Paysages
Chez
Keiko & Sylvain Parisot
@valentinlecron
In Bellême, Keiko and Sylvain Parisot have created Paysages, an intimate restaurant where wood fires, fresh produce, and Normandy juices embody a sensitive and masterful cuisine. An ode to the land and its terroir.
Although Keiko and Sylvain both have experience working in highly acclaimed and ultimately very institutional restaurants, it is in the heart of the Normandy countryside, in the small town of Bellême, and in a tiny restaurant (formerly Tonton) that they have chosen to put their convictions and talents into practice. Their motto, borrowed from farmer-baker Roland Feuillas, is “we eat landscapes.” Landscapes are therefore a constant theme here, in every dish created by chef Sylvain Parisot, as well as in every glass of cider or perry produced by Fred Pruchon and La Ferme de l'Yonniere. And techniques too, because with these dishes cooked mainly over a wood fire, you can really sense, here in these beets or there in these tomatoes, that it takes a lot of experience and sharp knives to demonstrate such mastery and humility. In 2025, Paysages received the Gault&Millau young talent award.
