In the heart of the Perche region, Casa Rosalie was born from a somewhat crazy gamble: leaving everything behind to reinvent their lives by a lake. Anne-Christelle and Bertrand have created three minimalist and welcoming chalets, designed with respect for materials and nature. A perfect retreat for experiencing the Perche region in a different way.
It was from this somewhat remote corner of Normandy that many hungry farmers left. Many Quebecers are now their descendants. It is here in the Golden Triangle of the Perche Regional Nature Park that the Parisian elite gather every weekend. How the tables have turned. Casa Rosalie is proof of this. Anne-Christelle Roussel and Bertrand L'huillier—and their little girl Rosalie—reinvented themselves, giving up everything to settle in this beautifully rolling, wooded countryside. In what was something of a crazy gamble, they imagined, designed, and then built these three lakeside chalets with the help of a Compagnon du Devoir craftsman. The materials are eco-friendly, the lines minimalist, the decor both contemporary and very personal, and the view does the rest. It's the ideal place to get away with your partner, with the kids, with a group of friends, and above all to experience the Perche region, in the heart of the bocage, in its most natural form.
