Une Maison dans le Perche
Chez
Isabelle Nancy
For many, this would be their dream country home. The stone is pale, the countryside looks like something out of a landscape painter's dream, there are more cows than people, the villages are sleepy, the flea markets are full of treasures... Le Perche never stops reinventing itself.
Fields, pastures, forests, a few castles and manor houses, antique dealers and second-hand shops, and a gentle way of life. The Perche region continues to revamp and reinvent itself. Isabelle and Reza have found a farmhouse surrounded by an oversized garden in the heart of the Perche Natural Park, which they plan to restore to its former glory and charm. Old stone and polished concrete, terracotta and lime paint, antique and contemporary pieces—the mix and match in this house in Le Perche is clever and bright. They have also applied their keen sense of space and staging to Le Nid in Arles.
3 good reasons to go
- because it is in the Perche region, of course
- because it doesn't put on airs and graces, and you will immediately feel at home in familiar surroundings
- because it's a bit like the country house we all imagine... without the hassle.
For up to 7 people, from €220 per night (minimum 2 nights)
